My DH and I will be visiting in Sept. and are both over 60. We stayed three years ago at POP when the whole family came. Which value resort should we stay at this time?

    Hi Diana!

My recommendation for you in the Value Resort category is Disney's newest Value Resort, the Art of Animation Resort. There are standard rooms located in the Little Mermaid section of the Art of Animation Resort.  The Family Suites at the Disney's Art of Animation Resort are in the Cars, Finding Nemo, and the Lion King sections.

I would also encourage you to try a Moderate Resort because for a little more money per night you can experience more amenities and incredible theming.  My moderate Resort pick for you would be Port Orleans Resort-French Quarter. Port Orleans-French Quarter is a compact, quiet, incredible Resort with great rooms, an awesome pool with a waterslide, and a great food court. All of the buildings in French Quarter were very close to the main lobby which houses the food court, gift shop, and the Disney bus stops. French Quarter is the perfect Resort for those who prefer the less busy, quiet Resort feeling.

I hope that you and your husband make some memories that last forever on your next vacation in Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
