Welcome back, Jennifer!
With your visit just a few weeks away, I bet you are excited and ready to put the finishing touches on your planning. This is one of the best times to visit, as you'll get to experience the 70th Anniversary right alongside Halloween Time!
Paint the Night is one of my must-see nighttime spectaculars, so I can understand why it's high on your list! I just took a peek at the
Entertainment Schedule for your park days, and the good news is that Paint the Night is scheduled to perform each night of your visit, barring any unexpected weather or issues. Nightly, it will march down Main Street at 8:30 PM and 10:30 PM. Typically, the first show will start down by "it's a small world" and end at the top of Main Street by the train station, and the later parade will run the reverse route. There are so many great viewing spots! As you might imagine, the first parade is more crowded and if you're hoping for a curb spot along Main Street, you might have to stake one out early. I like to see the very beginning by "it's a small world" where it tends to be a bit less crowded. Of course, if you plan to see the later show, it will be easier to find a spot without having to dive into your magical park minutes. Hot tip: lines for popular attractions may dip during the first parade, so you may maximize your experience by using that time to hit some of your favorite rides!
If you're looking to add a delicious layer to your viewing experience, you might consider the
Paint the Night dining package at the Plaza Inn. Guests dine at Plaza Inn between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM and receive a credential to access a preferred viewing spot for one of that evening's performances. This spot is in Town Square, just across from the Disneyland Railroad station. While it looks like the dining package may be booked for your dates, if this is of interest to you, keep checking! Guests are always changing their plans, and with a 24-hour cancellation policy, you may see some movement as you get closer to your visit.
Even if you find yourself holding down a spot for that first parade, you may as well make it a sweet experience. Check out the
Disney Parks Foodie Guide to Halloween Time and grab a treat to enjoy while you wait - there are so many to choose from! If you're on Main Street, try the Rest in Chocolate sundae from
Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor!
Jennifer, I truly hope this has been helpful. If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at

Magic awaits!
