Hello, Trisha, and welcome to planDisney!
I'm so glad you stopped by to chat about one of my favorite topics:
dining around the Walt Disney World Resort! Trisha, with so many great choices from snacks eaten on-the-go to longer, luxurious dinners, there is something for every taste bud! And... I have noticed that often when we are walking through the parks and hopping from one attraction to another, I prefer to eat lighter portions, so let's talk about sharing!
My husband and I have often used the strategy you mention at restaurants at Walt Disney World that are not a prix fixe or a buffet-style meal. In fact, on one visit, we dined at
Le Cellier Steakhouse, and ordered one bowl of soup, one entree, and one dessert to share. My husband and I have also enjoyed making a meal out of only appetizers. If you time it correctly, the outdoor seating at
Tony's Town Square Restaurant offers views of the parade. At this location, we ordered a few appetizers to split in lieu of any main course and had a great time soaking up the ambiance of Main Street, U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom Park.
Trisha, it sounds like you already have a great idea of what restaurants would "fit this bill," but as you continue to plan and secure your
advance dining reservations, make sure to review the menus and confirm that the restaurants you choose are not priced per person.
I'll be wishing on a star that you have a delicious vacation in every sense of the word and hope if you have any additional questions you come on back to planDisney.
Lauren
