I will be visiting the resort, staying within the park, 6/18-6/23. To better plan our tirip. Is there a way to find out what nights the park has fireworks, and special events in the evening?

There is indeed, Patricia!  When you visit the main website for Walt Disney World, you'll notice a heading towards the top of the page that reads PARKS in blue, capital letters.  Hovering over that heading will result in a drop-down menu that lists all of the four major theme parks.  Clicking on the park of your choice will open a new page.  At the left of that new page, you will find a menu with all sorts of different options, including a calendar.  Click on the calendar.  From there, you can change the calendar to the month of your visit.  At that point, you can click on any day to see the scheduled entertainment for that day.  Schedules are currently available through December 2012.  I hope that helps!

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
