Hi! I am visiting the resort from February 24th through 28th. Do you think within those 4 days I can get on rise of the resistance if i get a boarding pass in time? Thank you so much! Love cast members a ton you guys are amazing!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jacob!

In short, yes! I absolutely think you’ll have the opportunity to ride Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. I recently experienced the attraction and let me tell you, it was unlike anything I’ve seen!

As you may know, access to the attraction is through a virtual queue and Guests will need to join a Boarding Group through the My Disney Experience mobile app. In fact, here’s a great article from the Disney Parks Blog that Thomas wrote about the virtual queue.

To ensure that you join a Boarding Group, I would personally advise you to arrive early prior to the opening of Disney’s Hollywood Studios (check park hours). Lately, Guests have been held in the Hollywood Boulevard or Sunset Boulevard areas (I've heard starting at around 6:20 AM) until scheduled park opening time. Then at 7:00 AM, you will be able to select the "Join Boarding Group" button on the home page of the My Disney Experience mobile app.

Once you’ve secured your reservation and your boarding group is called, you’ll then have up to two hours to return to the attraction.

If you have any other questions, please let us know. Have a magical day!
