2/6/18 we will be visiting. Is it realistic to see Rivers of Light then drive to Epcot for Illuminations. Looks like Rivers is at 715 and illuminations is at 9. We will have our own vehicle

    Hello Brian!
Wow, you are planning to enjoy two of the most amazing nighttime spectaculars in Walt Disney World! I love both Rivers of Light at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park and Illuminations: Reflections of Earth at Epcot! Based on my experiences, I think your plan will be doable but is is going to be a very tight time table. Rivers of Light is a 15 minute show. My recommendation is that you sit toward the rear of the seating sections of Rivers of Light so you can make a quick exit after this amazing show is complete so that you can walk through Animal Kingdom to get to your vehicle (I would estimate it will take at least 15 minutes to get to your vehicle if you walk at a brisk pace). Once you are in your vehicle, it will take about 10 to 15 minutes to get to Epcot from Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. Then it will take another 15 to 20 minutes to park and get to World Showcase to view Illuminations: Reflections of Earth. I would recommend watching Illuminations: Reflections of Earth at the Mexico or Canada Pavilions since they are the closest to the entrance of Epcot and they both have great views of this incredible nighttime show. Using this timeline, you should arrive around 8:30 pm to 8:45 pm just in time to find a spot to view Illuminations: Reflections of Earth. I hope that your February 2018 Walt Disney World vacation is truly amazing in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
