Hi Justine!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with this great question! I'm excited about your upcoming stay later this year! There is nothing more exciting than looking forward to a Walt Disney World vacation!
The best way to capture all of your special moments is by purchasing
Memory Maker. It allows you unlimited downloads from photos captured during your stay. This may have been from
Disney PhotoPass Photographers at meet-and-greet locations or as you are exploring the parks. This also includes all photos taken at select attractions and experiences. My wife is a photographer and she is always capturing the sweetest moments between my daughters and me. Unfortunately, she is always on the other side of the camera. Memory Maker allows us to now have photos with everyone included!
You can purchase Memory Maker in advance at any time leading up to your visit. By doing so, you'll get it at the advanced purchase price. Just make sure to complete the purchase at least three days before your stay so all the photos you take are available to download. Memory Maker will not activate until you take your first photo during your visit. Once you take your first photo with a PhotoPass Photographer or at an attraction, head to your
My Disney Experience account and tap on a recently captured photo. You should receive a request to activate Memory Maker at this time. Once activated, you'll have access to all photos taken for the next 30 days.
Once purchased, make sure it is linked to your My Disney Experience account. To do so, log on to your account and scroll down to "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker." If it's not already linked, click on "Add More Plans" and select "Link Reservations and Purchases." Tap on "Select" under "Memory Maker" and enter the confirmation code you received upon purchase. You won't be able to use Memory Maker unless it is properly linked to your account.
Justine, I hope this information helps you plan for your upcoming stay!
Stop back and see us again at planDisney!
See ya real soon!
