    Visiting POR in Sept. Do all of the rooms now have queen size beds or are there still some that have double. Curious if I need to request a particular building to have queens instead of doubles?

    Greetings Mary!  I am so excited to hear that you'll soon be visiting one of my favorite Disney World resorts, Port Orleans Riverside!  I just love stilling along the Oak-shaded walkways amidst the beauty of the Sassagoula River!  The resort is an attraction all its own, even more so since the recent renovation during which the guest rooms were revamped and redecorated.

    During the renovation of Port Orleans Riverside, all of the rooms were outfitted with Queen-size beds which replaced the doubles, so there is no need to make a special request!  Just wait until you see these rooms!  I was absolutely amazed by the beauty of the rich fabrics and intricate decor I discovered in my Magnolia Terrace room last month!
