Hello, we are visiting the parks on 11/6-11/9 and I understand that Christmas decorations will be going up during that time. Will the lights be turned on at night as they are put up? We are hoping to see some of the Christmas lights at night. Thx Callee

    Dear Callee,
Visiting the Happiest Place on Earth during the first full week of November will make for wonderful memories, especially since the crowds tend to lessen right after Halloween and before the opening of Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort!
Although the Holiday Festivities are scheduled to officially kick off on November 10, I'm sure you'll catch plenty of the magic in the days leading up to November 10.
That's not to say everything will be up and running, as Disney likes to be very accurate in terms of the dates it promises to launch an event. However, you'll likely see the 60 ft. Christmas Tree begin to take shape in the center of Town Square along Main Street, U.S.A.
The Christmas light overlay will probably be nearly done over at Sleeping Beauty's Castle as well as the "it's a small world holiday".
Here's to wishing you catch some of this Holiday cheer while you're at the Happiest Place on Earth!
