Hey Luz!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Congratulations on your pregnancy and thank you for sending us your awesome question about
visiting the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks while pregnant. I visited Walt Disney World Resort while 35 weeks pregnant, and I can assure you that it is possible to have a relaxing, entertaining and magical vacation even while pregnant.
Luz, there are plenty of seating areas located all throughout the four Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. Many of thee areas are located in walkways and close to restrooms and dining options. When I traveled pregnant, I took breaks often. I found the many benches, seats and rocking chairs to be great for relaxing and avoiding swollen feet.
There are also many shows and attractions which offer waiting areas, air conditioned environments and comfortable seating. Below are some of my favorite “non-conventional” places to relax at the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks.
1. Tom Sawyer Island at Magic Kingdom Park-Tom Sawyer Island is chock-full of trees which offer shade and is a great place to relax away from the regular “hustle and bustle” of Magic Kingdom Park. You will also find plenty of seating — including rocking chairs — at Tom Sawyer Island.
2. The American Adventure at Epcot-This audio-animatronics show is 30-minutes long, offers plenty of seating and is located in an air-conditioned space!
3. First Aid Centers-Please do not hesitate to visit any of the First Aid centers (located at all four theme parks) if at any point you feel ill, tired or require any kind of medical assistance.
Luz, I hope I have helped answer your question. I wish you a magical vacation filled with unforgettable memories. If you want any other tips, please visit us again!
All Ears,
Priscila
