Hi there, Netye! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
November is an
excellent time to visit the Disneyland Resort! In fact, one of my most memorable vacations occurred over the first weekend in November. During that trip, we were treated to the beginning of Holiday decorations going up around the park including the snow on Sleeping Beauty Castle. Typically, the parks begin their transformation to the
Holidays immediately after Halloween. So, if this year follows suit, you have a pretty good chance of seeing all the festive decor during your trip in the middle of November. Look for the official dates and information on the Holidays to be announced on the
Disney Parks Blog in early fall.
My November trip was also so wonderful because of the near perfect weather we had while we visited. Average temperatures for this time of year range from 51 to 74 degrees. We found that while we waited for rope drop in the morning we needed a light jacket, but by the afternoon, our short sleeves and jeans felt perfect. I think we even wore shorts on a couple of the warmer days. Additionally, since the days are shorter in November, we got to enjoy the dazzling lights around the parks at night, but it was still early enough in the evening that our little one could experience it with us. It really was one of the most perfect times to visit!
I hope your trip is as memorable as mine was! Have a magical day!
