Hi Brooke,
Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I'm sure you're getting excited for your Walt Disney World vacation! I always find late January a wonderful time to visit. We took a trip just around that time last year to take in the
Epcot International Festival of the Arts. Our stay was so enjoyable and the festival was so much fun. I definitely encourage you to make the Epcot International Festival of the Arts a part of your plans.
Walt Disney World does schedule
attraction closures for refurbishment. The best way to see what's scheduled for refurbishment is to
check out the online Park Hours calendar. Looking at the Park Hours calendar for the time of your visit, Peter Pan's Flight and Tomorrowland Speedway — both in Magic Kingdom Park — are scheduled for refurbishment. Also in Magic Kingdom, the
Walt Disney World Railroad will be staged at the Main Street U.S.A. Station rather than circling the park as work is done for the new Tron attraction. Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is also scheduled to be closed.
The great news is that you'll be arriving in time to
enjoy new experiences such as Mickey & Minnie’s Surprise Celebration and "Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party.”
Brooke, here's wishing you a magical stay at Walt Disney World.
Enjoy your Disney!
Jerry
