Hi there, Christopher!
Welcome to planDisney. I’m glad you are getting ready to enjoy a visit to The Happiest Place on Earth with your daughter. Thanks for inviting us along to help with the preparations.
Wheelchairs are available to rent just outside the main entrance to Disneyland Park. Guests 18 years old or older may also choose to rent an Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV). Wheelchairs and ECVs may be used in
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park. If a Guest needs access to equipment for use between their
Disneyland Resort Hotel and the theme parks, Disney recommends their featured provider: ScooterBug. ScooterBug contact information is available on the Disneyland Resort
ECV and Wheelchair page as well.
Tony’s Tip: I appreciate the lengths to which the Disneyland Resort goes to
accommodate Guests with disabilities. Before visiting the theme parks, I encourage you to review the varying
mobility requirements for experiencing attractions. Even some of the experiences that normally require Guests to be fully ambulatory offer alternatives that I personally prefer to the usual experiences. That includes
Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, which only
recently reopened after an extended refurbishment. I love enjoying the voyage from the cool and spacious Observation Outpost. Ask a Cast Member at the attraction about accessing this alternative experience from the shore.
Thanks for your question, Christopher. If there is anything else you’d like to know before or during your visit to the Disneyland Resort, feel free to come by planDisney again.
