Hi Jiamone!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Walt Disney World Resort is a fantastic vacation destination for the entire family, including the smallest pirates and princesses! We brought our son last year for his first trip when he was 7 months old and he had a great time. Your entire family, including your 8 month old, can ride any of the attractions with no minimum height requirement. Jamie from the
Disney Parks Blog put together a really helpful
list of height requirements for each of the rides at all four theme parks. Our little guy really enjoyed "it's a small world", Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid, and Dumbo the Flying Elephant!
I have also found that the live shows and entertainment in each of the parks is a great activity for the entire family to enjoy together. For our family's favorite show at Walt Disney World Resort, it is a tie between Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo - The Musical, both at Disney's Animal Kingdom. These shows are a great way to take a break from the Florida heat while enjoying your favorite Disney movies brought to life. Also, be sure to catch the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade in Magic Kingdom. It is really amazing and one of my favorite things to do on our trip!
Finally, be sure to take advantage of the
Baby Care Centers during your trip. They are the perfect place to take care of all of your baby's need. They make traveling with a little one so easy!
T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
