Greetings, Krysta!
Beep, bop, whoaaaaaaa! How fun that your family will get to build and adopt your very own droid from
Droid Depot. The Batuuans running the shop do tend to keep things orderly and efficient. So only one guest is usually permitted to accompany the droid builder in the experience area. Even though Batuuans are known to be resilient and tough to survive the rugged landscape of their native planet, they do still have a heart. So they are not likely to break up a family with a youngling like yours. Although you may be asked to park your youngling transport (stroller) outside of Droid Depot, I believe it is likely that the workshop workers will permit you and your child to accompany your builder during the experience. Plenty of stroller parking is available nearby.
During your visit to
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, I hope you enjoy the rest of the Black Spire Outpost as well. One of my favorite spots to visit is the
Creature Stall. Maybe you can adopt an exotic pet to take home as well as your new droid! If you are hungry for a quick bite during your visit to a galaxy far, far away, I highly recommend the wraps from
Ronto Roasters. Both their breakfast Ronto Morning Wrap and their regular Ronto Wrap are delicious!
Also, be sure to download the
Play Disney Parks app before your journey. This free app enhances your whole Disneyland Resort vacation experience. The included
Star Wars: Datapad is especially fun to use during your visit to Batuu. You’ll be able to unlock achievements, support the Resistance or the First Order in “Outpost Control,” and take on jobs to help residents of the Black Spire Outpost.
‘Til the Spire, Krysta!
