I will be visiting the park in June 2010 & was looking for some guidance with regards to the Meal Plans. I will vacationing with my 8 yr daughter & mother. We are looking for flexibility. A co-worker a mentioned concierge pkg. What is that?

Hi, it sounds like you have a fun "girls only" trip planned!

Disney's Dining Plans offer a lot of flexibility. The one you choose should depend on how many Table Service meals you want to eat on your trip. We always plan on one a day, because it allows us the chance to really sit down and relax. The Dining Plan credits are based on the number of nights in your package.

The Quick Service Plan-- Includes 2 Quick Service and 2 Snacks

The Plus (Basic) Plan-- Includes 1 Table Service, 1 Quick Service, and 1 Snack

The Deluxe Plan-- Includes 3 Meals (Table or Quick)

If it's flexibility you are looking for, then I'd go with the Basic plan. You can actually eat 2 table service meals in one day, and 2 quick service the next, etc. They just all have to be used up by midnight on the day of your departure.

The Concierge Package is an option you can add on if you are staying in a Disney Deluxe Resort. These rooms are normally located on a private floor/wing of the resort. They are key-lock access and are a higher price. The benefits are that the concierge level offers a special lounge. Throughout the day they offer various things like coffee, pastries, snacks, cheese & crackers, soup, appetizers, wine, beer and desserts.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if you need further clarification on anything. Have fun on your magical vacation!
