I will be visiting the park for the first time with my 4 year old son. What are the top 10 must see and do attractions for a 4 year old boy at the Magic Kingdom?

    Hi Laurie:

I have a five-year-old and a three-year-old and have been traveling to Walt Disney World with them since they were infants. Keep in mind, there are way more than ten must-do attractions and activities in the Magic Kingdom, but here's a top-ten list. Your family may have different tastes, but hopefully these recommendations (in no particular order) will be a good start to planning your trip:
    1. Pirates of the Caribbean
    2. The Pirates League
    3. Jungle Cruise
    4. Peter Pan's Flight
    5. Mickey's PhilharMagic
    6. Monster's, Inc. Laugh Floor
    7. Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover
    8. Haunted Mansion
    9. Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin
    10. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

Bonus: Take a Railroad ride around the Magic Kingdom.  Or hop on the monorail for a ride. The monorail is not technically inside the Magic Kingdom, but you can find a monorail station right at the Magic Kingdom Entrance. Double Bonus: Tomorrowland Speedway

Congrats on your first trip. Remember to check in at City Hall at the Magic Kingdom, or at guest relations at other parks, and pick up "first-visit" buttons. Many Cast Members will go out of their way to greet your family to make the visit more memorable.
