If we are visiting a park with extra hours are guests cleared out before the extra hours begin? How do cast members know if you are a guest in one of the hotels or is it not controlled?

Hi, Susan!   While the parks are not cleared out for Extra Magic Hours, the cast members will ask each and every guest to show their resort ID (Key to the World card) prior to entering a line for an attraction.  Every guest, children over age 3 included, will need to show their Key to the World cards so make sure to keep the cards handy for the entire night as you will need to show them every time you enter an attraction queue.   I usually keep the cards for my entire family so they don't get misplaced and I can just pull out the cards for everyone.

If you are staying on property, have your Key to the World card handy and enjoy the Extra Magic Hours!  What a great benefit of staying on property!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
