Hi! We are visiting Paris Disney in mid June. We know that there definitely will be crowds, but compared to Disneyland CA and World what should we expect? Do lines typically go up to 90 min or more like they do in CA? We can’t wait to check it out! Thanks!

    Bonjour!

Hey, Lindsay! Welcome back to planDisney! I am so excited that you are heading out on an international adventure this summer, we cannot wait to welcome you to Europe. Disneyland Paris is my local park, and I cannot wait for you to experience everything that feels familiar from Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World, along with everything that is completely unique!

I have been lucky enough to visit all of the Disney Parks around the world, and I am actually in the final countdown to my next visit to Disneyland Resort. I cannot wait for my two boys to experience Cars Land for the first time! In general, I find standby wait times at Disneyland Paris to be a little lower than the US parks, but there are a few exceptions. Crush’s Coaster at Disney Adventure World often has waits of 80 minutes or more throughout the day, and classics like Peter Pan’s Flight regularly sit around the 60 minute mark.

One thing I really love at Disneyland Paris is Disney Premier Access One, which is similar to Lightning Lane. Attractions are available to purchase individually through the Disneyland Paris app, and once booked, you simply return at your designated time and head straight into the fast lane. I have often found that there is availability with near-immediate return times, which has worked out great for my family.

Another option is Disney Premier Access Ultimate, which is a one-off purchase that gives you one-time access to the fast lane at many of the most popular attractions across both Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World in a single day. The best part is that there are no return times, you can visit the attractions whenever it suits you. It is very similar to Lightning Lane Premier Pass at the US parks.

I hope this has helped to answer your question today, Lindsay, and that you have the best time visiting Disneyland Paris this summer! If you have any further vacation planning questions, please reach out to me. I'd love to help!

    See ya real soon!
