Boo to you! Jennifer and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
My favorite special ticket event in all of Walt Disney World Resort is
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Magic Kingdom Park is decorated for the fall season as the scarecrows are up, 176 pumpkins line the balconies of the buildings on Main Street, U.S.A., and the smells of sweet treats are billowing from Mickey's cauldron. I am spellbound by the silly-spooky around the theme park. My favorite is Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade followed by the aerial chromatic fireworks in Happy HalloWishes. They are sorcery in the sky.
Special event tickets for magically extra experiences and happily haunting evenings like Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party are non-refundable and non-transferrable. The ticket is intended for the night of purchase but I know Disney has made allowances for a date change for numerous reasons provided the new date has availability. I suggest calling (407) 939-5277 and speaking with a Cast Member (Disney speak for employee) to see what can be done for this ghoulishly delightful night of not-so-scariness. Please note that if you change your date to one where the party ticket is more expensive then you will need to pay the difference. If it is less expensive then it should be swapped with no refund.
Disney Dad Tip: Do not miss the eerie ride of the Headless Horseman through Frontierland before Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade. We have found the best spot is to stand in front of the half wall forward of the
Hall of Presidents.
Jennifer, enjoy making many Spook-tacularly Magical Memories.
