Hi Loretta!
You are a girl after my own heart; I love visiting
Walt Disney World solo. There is something freeing about being able to decide what you want to do and when you want to do it! I have taken several solo trips to Walt Disney World, so I am happy to give you a few tips!
A great place to start is the
Walt Disney World Vacation Planning site. This page is full of helpful tips, including information on the
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels,
theme park tickets, and much more. If you only have one free day, I think that Disney's Magic Kingdom or EPCOT would be your best options. Magic Kingdom is quintessential Disney. You will get to experience all of the classic
attractions, such as "
it's a small world,"
Dumbo, and
Peter Pan's Flight. Of course, you can also see
Cinderella Castle and the
Disney Enchantment fireworks show.
At EPCOT, you will enjoy exploring World Showcase and eating and drinking your way around the world! There are so many delicious treats! You will be visiting during the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, which means you can enjoy food cooked in the outdoor kitchens. There are also wonderful attractions at this park, including
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
To establish your itinerary, create a
My Disney Experience account. You can then purchase your
ticket and make your
Disney park pass reservation. You will need both valid park admission and a park reservation to visit a Walt Disney World park. Once you purchase your tickets and make your reservation, you can even plan out your day in the My Disney Experience app by using Disney Genie!
I hope you have a magical vacation!
Magically,
Stacy
