Hi We will be visiting orlando for 14 nights in Oct - for the first time, me my wife and our 9yr daughter. We are planning of doing 5 day tickets , with 2 days at MK and 1day each at all parks no hopping- would this many days be enough to visit all parks?

    Hi Ruchir,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. A two-week vacation at Walt Disney World sounds wonderful! How exciting to be visiting Walt Disney World for the first time.

It sounds like you are planning to purchase 5-day base tickets, and using them to visit Magic Kingdom for two days, and Disney Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and Disney's Animal Kingdom for one day each. This will absolutely work and you will have the correct number of days on your tickets for this plan.

If this is your plan, just realize that you cannot possibly do everything at any of the Walt Disney World theme parks in just a day or two. I visit Walt Disney World year after year, multiple times a year, finding new things each time I go! That said, I absolutely understand and value down time on vacation, so having days to relax at your resort is important to me as well, and it sounds like you are building this in.

I think that for your first visit, a plan of visiting each park for one or two days is fine, as long as you know that there are things you will not be able to do with this amount of time. I suggest that you use your My Disney Experience account to make Disney FastPass+ selections for each day that you are visiting a theme park.

Finally, if you decide in the middle of your vacation that you want more time in the theme parks, do not worry! As long as you are within 14 days of the first use, and there are still admissions left on your tickets, you can upgrade your Walt Disney World tickets to add days to them.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Ruchir!
