Hi Julia,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question! You’re going to love dinner at
1900 Park Fare at
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa - it’s probably my family’s favourite character dining experience in Walt Disney World Resort.
You have several car
parking options during your family’s upcoming visit. Your first option would be to ask the Cast Member at the gate when you arrive at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa whether it would be okay for you and your family to park for more than 3 hours that evening in order to be able to see Wishes nighttime spectacular. If it’s not a busy day, they may say yes and let you park for as long as you wish. If, however, it’s a particularly busy day, your other alternative would be to use valet parking at the Resort. Although this is a fee-based service, you can usually stay for as long as you’d like if you use that option.
Finally, if you aren’t able to use either of those options, you can pay to park in Magic Kingdom Park’s parking lot and then just take the Resort Monorail over to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
I hope my answer helps you make the most of your day at Walt Disney World Resort. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
