We are visiting the Orlando area in June.Sadly, we will not be staying onsite or visiting the parks, but we would still love to find a little Disney magic. We will visit Disney Springs, but wondering if we can visit the resorts if we are not staying onsite

Hi Julie! Welcome back to planDisney.

While I do love spending time in theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort, I often reserve a Disney Springs day. The magic is alive and well over at this shopping, dining, and entertainment oasis. Great news, parking is complimentary or rideshare services can drop you off. From Disney Springs, you can access Walt Disney World Transportation to any of the Disney Resort Collection Hotels as well. You are more than welcome to visit any of the resorts even without a reservation. Please note, parking privileges are often limited to those staying at the resort or holding a dining reservation.

Think about treating yourself to a performance of Drawn to Life Presented by Cirque du Soleil® and Disney. This show recently added new thrilling acts. During the hot Florida afternoons, I enjoy taking in a movie at AMC® Disney Springs 24 Dine-In Theatre. Some of my favorite dining options currently include City Works Eatery & Pour House for local craft beers and appetizers, Chef Art Smith's Homecomin', and Salt & Straw for unique ice cream selections.

Finally, why not visit one of the Disney resorts with views of Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom Park? You can choose to hang out on the beach at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort or head on over to my favorite resort spot on the walkway at Disney's Contemporary Resort. I like to stop at Steakhouse 71 Lounge for a preshow cocktail and bite.

    Keeping it Magical,
    Cindy
