Hi! Visiting in one month - a split stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge (regular room at Jambo House) and Boardwalk Inn. How big are the in-room safes - are they large enough to hold a couple of ipads? Thanks!

I have Apple addiction issues so I absolutely understand your question. If you are forced to be separated from you iPad you at least want to know your tablet is safe and secure.

Most Walt Disney World resorts have safes dating from an era before iPads were so ubiquitous so the dimensions do not quite work for tablets. Both Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disney's BoardWalk Resort have room safes measuring 12 x 6 x 4. The iPad by my side is seven inches tall so fitting two into one of these safes won't work. You may leave your two tablets at the front desk where they will be safely locked away or just leave them in your room. I always leave my iPad out and charging while we enjoy the parks and have never had any issues. Free wifi is available in WDW resorts.

    Enjoy your magical vacation!
