Hi Moms. We are visiting in October this year and are planning to attend the MNSSHP for the first time. Should we purchase tickets for just one night or two so we can experience everything at the party. Can't wait.

Beth, you are in for the most spooktacular time at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. I recently went for the very first time a couple of years ago solo and can't wait to do it again with my family.

I personally think you will be able to get the entire experience in only one night. The party usually begins at 7pm (although you can usually get in with your ticket starting earlier than that) and Magic Kingdom will stay open until midnight. There are two opportunities to see the parade, so if you miss the first one because you are off at a dance party or trick-or-treating elsewhere, you can still see it. Here's a tip, the second parade is often less crowded, too! There are typically two different locations for the dance party and the Villain show is really fun to see. Keep in mind, the dates for this event have not yet been announced and party events could change slightly from year to year.

Don't forget to get or use your PhotoPass as there are some very unique photo opportunities that are exclusive to this event. There will also be characters dressed in their Halloween Costumes that you will only see at the party!

Again, and it is just my opinion, but I think one night for the party should suffice. So, put that money towards another fun souvenir or special meal during your stay!

And....BOO to you and your family! Have a magical time.
