We are visiting in October. Is World of Color going to be happening during that month? If so, what days? Thank you!

    Welcome to planDisney, Heidi!

My family and I recently came back from the Disneyland Resort and we had the joy of watching World of Color at Disney California Adventure. Wow! What a powerful, moving, and beautiful show! The colorful water fountains are simply mesmerizing. There's something so magical about seeing Pixar Pier lit up in the distance too.

I've just looked at the calendar, Heidi. As I type these words, I can see that Disney has published showtimes for World of Color up to October 1. There's a 9:00 PM showing and a 10:15 PM showing on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Disney has not announced any plans to change this schedule. Therefore, I would assume that this will continue to be the schedule throughout October. However, that's not guaranteed. In the words of Disney, "World of Color may not occur daily and showtimes are subject to change." So just keep an eye on the schedule in the build-up to your trip. The schedule can be found on the World of Color page on the Disneyland website.

Hopefully, you'll get to see this fantastic show during your trip. Here's some advice: you'll need to enter the virtual queue earlier in the day at 12:00 PM. For a great view, arrive at the marked entrance point an hour before the show begins. Maybe grab a churro to munch on while you wait.

Have a wonderful time, Heidi. See ya real soon!
