We are visiting in October and wondered if the Disney Starlight parade will run on non Halloween party nights.

    Hi Lisa!

Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by to ask your question today about your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World. I love helping fellow UK Guests plan the perfect vacation to Orlando, and sharing my experiences of visiting over the years. You are visiting at my favourite time of the year. I love the weather, and I love the Halloween atmosphere!

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has already begun. They definitely go bigger, and earlier, for Halloween than we do this side of the pond! Disney Starlight is performed on evenings without a Halloween party, weather permitting. You can always check show and parade times on the My Disney Experience app.

Disney Starlight is a great addition to nighttime entertainment at Magic Kingdom Park, and usually the parade runs twice each night. We always have a pretty easy time grabbing a spot with a great view up by Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Frontierland.

Another reason we love visiting in October is the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. Definitely take the time to wander around World Showcase, and come hungry, so you can try food and drinks from a range of different countries. It is a great way to try something new in a taster-sized portion for a great price.

I hope this answers your question today, Lisa, and that you have the BEST time visiting Walt Disney World! If you have any other vacation planning questions, please reach out to me. I’d love to help!

    See ya real soon!
