    Hi, we are visiting in October. Are there likely to be any special events at the Magic Kingdom due to it's 40th anniversary? Many Thanks.

    Hi Samantha,

    No 40th anniversary celebrations have been officially announced as of yet although I would like to think that something will take place to mark the occasion.

    My family are planning on being at Walt Disney World during this weekend and are also very interested to hear what, if anything, will be taking place.
