Hi Lori! Great name=)
I also have a 14 year-old boy, so I am enlisting his help with this answer.
1. Food-- If your son is like mine, eating is very important. His two favorite restaurants are 'Ohana at the Polynesian Village Resort and Donald's Safari Breakfast at the Tusker House in Animal Kingdom.
2. Thrill Rides-- There are thrill rides at each park. Check out this
link to filter attractions based on age and preferences. He can start making his plan of action!
3. Pin Trading-- Both of my boys love to trade pins with Disney Cast Members. We usually buy an assortment on eBay and they take the ones they want to trade inside the parks.
4.
DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park-- Five floors of video game heaven...enough said!
5. Miniature Golf-- There are two miniature golf course locations on property; Winter Summerland and Fantasia Garden and Fairways. We love them both!
6. Water Parks-- The two water parks are top-notch and have lots of bigger rides for your teen.
7. The LEGO store at Downtown Disney-- A "must-do" for each of our trips.
Be sure to check out this
article on planning trips for teens. Believe me when I say there is plenty of fun for all ages!
I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
