Hi, we're visiting in October and have a few q's about our Free Dining plan. Is the snack a food and drink or is it for just one item? Also, should we make reservations for all of our table meals? Are the meals included large and filling? Thanks a lot!

Hi Jaime!  The snack is usually one item.  But you can use your snack credits for either a snack or beverage.  (Note: you will receive a beverage with your meal as part of the dining plan so you won't have to use your snack credit for a drink while actually dining.)  If you'd like to get a better idea on what you can use your snack credits for, I highly recommend you visit disboards.com and search on "2009 confirmed snacks dining plan."  You will see a thread (about 8 down on the list) containing an unofficial list of items that snack credits can be used on.  You will be amazed!

As far as making reservations, it is highly recommended that you do so - especially during free dining periods.  Popular restaurants and desirable times will fill up quickly and you don't want to be disappointed.  I have always found the meals to be more than filling and many times opt to share a meal with my daughter so we don't waste the food.
