Hi, we will be visiting in October 2016. Can we use Disney gift cards to pay for parking? Also, can anyone eat at the resort restaurants/food courts? We are not staying at a Disney resort. Thanks!

    Hi Adrienne,

Disney Gift Cards can be used at most Disney owned and operated locations where credit cards are currently accepted.

I am therefore pleased to be able to tell you that you can indeed pay for parking at the Disney Theme Parks with a Disney Gift Card. The parking attendant will simply swipe your Disney Gift Card in exactly the same way that they would swipe a credit card to collect payment.

You are more than welcome to eat at any of the Disney Resort hotels food courts or restaurants even if you will be staying off-site. Please do be aware however that Advance Dining Reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance so I would highly recommend checking for availability at any desired Table-Service restaurants ahead of time. Dining reservations can be made online via the Walt Disney World website or by calling (407) 939-1947.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
