I am visiting in October of 2014 and have the dining plan. I see that we get a dessert at a table and a quick service restaurant a day. I am allergic to soy, egg and milk. What sort of substitutes can I expect them to provide? Will there be an extra charge

    Hi Danielle,

We're so glad that you stopped by the Moms Panel to ask your question.

Good news: Not only is Walt Disney World fully capable of accommodating your special dietary restrictions, they actually take much pride in providing gourmet selections for each and every guest. Also, there will be not extra charge for this. It's their pleasure to provide you with a magical culinary experience.

Many restaurants provide soy and dairy free desserts, and some even use egg replacement powder for cooking, if necessary. A great resource for guests that have special diets is the website www.glutenfreedairyfreewdw.com. They have printable resource guides for Walt Disney World guests, and they are divided by allergy. Be sure to visit them for a full list of options.

I hope this helps you, Danielle. If you have any other questions about your upcoming magical vacation, please feel free to ask us at any time.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
