We will be visiting in Oct. this year and opted for the Disney Dining Plan. What foods, if any are NOT included in the DDP? Or will this be clearly stated on the menu? Thanks! TR

    Hi Trese!

Thanks for your question. Great choice choosing the Disney Dining Plan. Not only is the Dining Plan convenient and a time saver, but a money saver as well. We've selected one of the 3 Dining Plans on nearly every trip of our stay, and have saved anywhere between 15% -20% based on our calculations. Depending on how long your stay, that can amount to significant savings!

As to what foods you are entitled to or not will all depend on which restaurant you choose. Disney menus are very good at clearly displaying appetizers, entrees, desserts, and such, so you'll clearly be able to recognize what your choices are (and aren't at a particular restaurant). Your server will also tell you what's covered under your Dining Plan as they hand out the menus. I can tell you first-hand that there really isn't much you won't be able to find to fit your palette, with the hundreds of restaurants throughout the parks and resorts.

I would encourage you to go to the Disney World Dining page, filter through your interests, and for many of the restaurants you will find their menus already posted online for your personal viewing!

So have fun, and prepare yourself for some extravagant eating!
