Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Carolyn!
Your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is coming up soon, and I’m just so excited for you. I just got back from a visit, and I’m happy to report that the Mickey pumpkins in Magic Kingdom Park are waiting to greet you!
I have two Descendants fans in my house, and they are (ahem, not so) patiently waiting for their chance to meet Mal, Evie, Carlos, Jay, and the rest of the Villain Kids and Auradon Prep students. Currently, the Descendants are busy singing and dancing their way through life while keeping balance and order between Auradon and the Isle of the Lost, and they’re not available to meet Guests at Walt Disney World.
During Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, there is a must-do activity for Descendants fans: the
DescenDANCE Party at
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café. Bust a move while a DJ spins spooky tunes and some songs you might recognize from the Descendants movies, and watch for video messages from some favorite Descendants. This event takes place on party nights only, and is continuous throughout the evening.
As you enter
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, be sure to pick up an event Guide from a Cast Member; this guide provides a map and list of party activities, times for shows and entertainment, and locations for merchandise and special treats. You can also use the
My Disney Experience mobile app to see which characters are out and about; when you open the app, tap the map and then choose "Characters" from the top menu. I also highly recommend talking to Cast Members (their Halloween costumes are fabulous), because they'll have lots of tips and answers for you.
Carolyn, I was talking through Magic Kingdom Park the other day and I saw a little girl dressed like Audrey from Descendants 3 (who could miss that gorgeous hair)? It turns out that Audrey, Mal, and Uma makeovers are available at
The Pirates League during Halloween season; you can check the web page or call (407) 939-5277 for more details on what the makeover includes, but it’s usually hair, makeup, and nails, and outfit options in deluxe packages.
Have so much fun on your upcoming visit, and a spook-tacular time at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. I caught a glimpse of the all-new
Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks, and they look so good! Enjoy every minute of trick-or-treating around Magic Kingdom Park!
Boo to you, and have a magical vacation,
Robyn
