We're visiting in Oct from New Zealand. Halloween is not celebrated in NZ and our kids 6 and 8 are keen to go to Mickeys Halloween. We've never visited WDW and everything will be very exciting. Is it worth the money? We are on a budget.

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is worth every penny of the admission price, Roger.  In my humble opinion, of course.  Every year, my kids consider it one of the highlights of our annual fall trip.  They love the opportunity to dress in costume and trick-or-treat throughout the Magic Kingdom.  So, too, do they enjoy admiring the costumes of fellow party-goers.  Mostly, though, they love the special parade and fireworks displays that are exclusive to the parties.  I can't blame them; those two events alone justify the expense of attending.  We'll be dressed in costume again this year during the party.  We wouldn't miss it for the world!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
