Hi Nicole,
Welcome back to planDisney! We love it when guests like you turn to us again for suggestions and recommendations to help with your Walt Disney World vacation planning.
Doing a tour of the monorail resorts, especially at the holidays, has always been one of my family's favorite Disney traditions. However, under the
current enhanced health and safety guidelines, visits to resorts are limited to those who are staying there or who have
advanced dining reservations.
Perhaps you can plan a meal at one of the resorts after your visit to Magic Kingdom? I think the
Grand Floridian Cafe is one of the hidden gems of Walt Disney World dining. It's a lovely space with a yummy menu. Or check out
The Wave...of American Flavors at the Contemporary. My husband and I are fans of the cozy atmosphere and the new American cuisine there.
Conditions and procedures continue to evolve, so please keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog and the
operational updates section of the Walt Disney World website for any updates, just in case the guidelines change before your visit. And, as always, feel free to check back with us at any time.
Wishing you a magical visit,
Wilma
