Tegan Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am visiting in November and am staying onsite, however I don't plan on beginning to use my 10 day ticket until several days into my stay. Will I still be able to book fast passes for the last days of my ticket, 60 days out from my check in date?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Tegan!

Guests staying at an official Walt Disney World Resort hotel are able to book their FastPass+ experiences 60 days from their check-in date for up to 10 days of their Walt Disney World Resort vacation. If you’re staying for longer than 10 days and don’t plan to begin using your Theme Park tickets until after your stay has begun, you might run into some glitches trying to book your FastPass+ reservations for the latter portion of your visit. Should you have problems, though, I would just reach out to a Cast Member at the “My Disney Experience, MagicBands and FastPass+” helpline.

One strategy I’ve always used is to book the last day of my ticket/ vacation first and then work backwards from there. I also try to grab those hard-to-get FastPass+ experiences (like Slinky Dog Dash at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Test Track at Epcot, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at Magic Kingdom Park and Avatar - Flight of Passage at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park) first.

With a longer Theme Park ticket, make sure you pay attention to the ticket expiration date and restrictions. (For example, 10-day tickets purchased after Oct. 16, 2018 must be used within 14 days of the ticket’s first use.)

Enjoy your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, Tegan! Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help you plan.
