Brooke from UT Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

We will be visiting November 7/8th. It says online that DCA closes at 8pm but it also lists that World of Color is scheduled for 8:15. Any clarification on what closing times or show schedule is accurate?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Brooke.

World of Color is a delightful way to end your evening after enjoying a fun day at the Disney California Adventure Park. Although the park will officially close at 8 PM on the dates that you'll be visiting the Disneyland Resort, Guests are able to catch the World of Color at the indicated show time of 8:15 PM.

The viewing area is divided into different color zones. Guests can enjoy a World of Color Dining Package at a participating restaurant, or a Dessert Party prior to the show to be in reserved viewing areas. You can also obtain a FASTPASS early in the day (located near Grizzly River Run) for a preferred viewing spot at Paradise Park. The FASTPASS is first-come, first-served; on the FASTPASS voucher will be your designated viewing area and recommended arrival time.

Once the show begins, the rest of Disney California Adventure Park will be closed. When World of Color finishes, Guests will be escorted towards the exit by Disney Cast Members.

I hope this information is helpful for you. I wish you and your family a magical time on your upcoming trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. Please visit us on the Panel again if you have further questions.

    Have an enchanted day,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
