We are visiting November 20-25, 2018 will the park have anything special going on for Thanksgiving or Christmas seasons during that time?

    Hi Lisa,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

If it's special holiday season celebrations you're looking to enjoy, then Walt Disney World is an amazingly fun and beautiful place to take in the spirit of the season. Throughout the theme parks and Resort hotels, you'll see Walt Disney World transformed to its holiday magic. You can check out the Online Park Hours Calendar to see what's scheduled for your visit. One of the highlight events each year is Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. It looks like one of the event evenings lines up with the last day of your visit, so if it works for your travel plans, I highly recommend experiencing the party. Over at Epcot, you can enjoy the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays, where one of the showcase traditions is the Candlelight Processional. Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! makes for a spectacular celebration at Disney's Hollywood Studios. You can also experience Holidays at Disney Springs, where there are lots of seasonal activities and events including the Christmas Tree Trail. You're sure to find memorable ways to celebrate the holiday magic.

Lisa, here's wishing you a very Merry Christmastime at Walt Disney World.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
