Welcome to planDisney, Julie! It's great to see you hEAR again planning your November trip.
Julie, as much as Chef Remy loves to cook, that's how much I love talking all things food at the Walt Disney World Resort! Now, let's figure out the best way to share meals and please all of the Mouseketeers in your family.
Julie, first, it's important to know that you are permitted to share meals (with price reflected in only what you order) at any quick-service location or table-service restaurant that does not have a prix fixe price per person. For example, when my family dined at
Sanaa at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas- Kidani Village in August, we ordered the Indian-style Bread Service for the table and then my husband and I split an entrée.
However, if you're hoping to add a little character to your meal at a restaurant like
Hollywood & Vine over at Disney's Hollywood Studios or
Garden Grill Restaurant at EPCOT, plan to pay per person as these restaurants are priced per guest, not food item.
Julie, as the mother of a "selective" eater, a few spots we have found that were not only a hit for everyone in our family, but allow entrée sharing are
50's Prime Time Café at Disney's Hollywood Studios,
Yak & Yeti Restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom and
Regal Eagle Smokehouse at EPCOT (
while this is a quick-service option it is my son's favorite; you'll find lots of seating plus portions large enough for sharing).
Julie, I hope this helps as you are getting ready for your Magical vacation. Best wishes for a trip that is delectable down to the last bite. Please come back and see us here at planDisney with any other questions you might have.
Bon Appetit!
Lauren
