Hi! We are visiting in November. I see that on nights when there's a Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party scheduled, Magic Kingdom closes at 6:00 p.m. Will the Castle Dream Lights be lit for viewing for non party guests before the 6 p.m. closing?

    Hi, Stephanie!

What a magical time to visit Walt Disney World Resort! I am happy to report that you will most likely be able to see the enchanting Cinderella Castle in its holiday “attire” as the lights do come on at dusk! That being said, having visited Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party twice in the past, I strongly recommend that you try to attend if at all possible! With a valid party ticket, you can actually enter Magic Kingdom Park at 4 pm! Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is truly unlike any other Disney Parade you will ever see! There are also holiday treats, special Disney Character meet & greets and more!

Here’s a tip: Weather can be unpredictable during that time of year, so make sure to wear layers or place some extra clothing in a useful locker!

Have a festive and magical time!
