We will b visiting Nov27-Dec6 this yr. Kids will be 12,9,7. Should we stay AK kidani Village (our home resort) or BWV? LOVE the location of BW, but have yet to stay at AK. The distance from everything keeps us from doing so every yr. THX

Hi Michelle! I love the festive holiday season at Walt Disney World...you're in for a fabulous treat.

Ahh the big dilemma... stay close to the "city" or the exotic "suburbs"?

I recently stayed at Disney's Boardwalk Villas and it was amazing. You'll feel transported to a simpler time and place with Disney elegence. And nothing beats being able to stroll to Epcot to watch the beauty of "Illuminations: Reflections of Earth" explode over the World Showcase Lagoon.

BUT...Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village is our home resort and it will always be my favorite Walt Disney World resort because there is no other place like it anywhere!

If you haven't had a chance to stay at the wondrous Kidani Village you owe it yourself to experience the majestic surroundings of this one of a kind place. Opt for a savannah view and you'll be blown away with seeing the beauty and splendor of the wild animals from your balcony.

You're right Animal Kingdom Lodge is a trek from Disney's Magic Kingdom. Epcot and Hollywood Studios, but you do have access to complimentary resort transportation which makes frequent pick-ups from each of the Walt Disney Resorts. Of course if you have your own car you can save time by driving to where you want to go.

No matter where you decide to stay, both are fantastic choices so I know you'll have a wonderful time.
