We will be visiting in Nov and only plan to go to Magic Kingdom. We want to stay as close as possible since one of my children gets carsick. Which resort would be our best option? I am worried that the monorail will make too many stops?

    Hi Julie!

Boy oh boy am I the one to answer this question!  I was ALWAYS the kid that got car sick.  Didn't matter if it was a 2 hour ride or a 2 minute ride...the trip was doomed.

You have several gorgeous resorts to choose from that are very close to Magic Kingdom.  They are:

    Disney's Contemporary Resort
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
    Disney's Polynesian Resort

You can use the Monorail and the boat launch at all three to get to the park.  The boat is an extremely smooth ride so I think that might be your best best.

I've included the following two because they also use a boat launch to get to Magic Kingdom.

    Disney's Wilderness Lodge
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground

If I had to choose one resort for you to avoid te car, monorail and boat it would be The Contemporary.  It's a 5 to 10 minute walk to Magic Kingdom from that resort.

I really hope this information helps you!  Please visit us again if you have any other questions!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
