I am visiting Nov 29-Dec with my 11, 9, and 6 yr old children (and husband!). We loved Coral Reef and Tutto Italia 2 years ago. How about Whispering Canyon, Artist Point, and Chef Mickeys? Any advice or other suggestions? Have done princess dinners also

Well I happen to LOVE all three of your dining thoughts. Whispering Canyon can be a fun experience with lots of action during your meal. Artists Point is a fine dining location and the food is wonderful as well as the atmosphere.  Both are at Wilderness Lodge and it is a great place to visit and enjoy a meal during your vacation.

Chef Mickey's is probably my favorite character dining choice.  The buffet is good for all meals and you have the chance to meet most of the Disney main characters while you are there.  It is easy to get to and the rooms are bright and cheery.

Other thoughts for dining would be to get reservations for the Hoop De Doo Revue dinner show in Fort Wilderness.  Also in Fort Wilderness is Mickey's Backyard Barbecue but with your children's ages the Hoop De Doo might be better.  Plus Fort Wilderness is a great place to wander around and visit the stables where the Disney horses are kept.  You can get a pony ride there as well and if you are lucky watch the blacksmith work on a few of the horses.

EPCOT is full of great locations and my family enjoys dining in Japan.  It is almost like a dinner show with the chefs preparing the food in front of you while balancing knives and tossing other things into their hats. It is quite entertaining and the food is great!  Suggest lunch over dinner only because of the price difference.
