We are visiting in 2017 and have no choice but to visit during peak season. We can come either February Vacation, April ( easter week) or we could wait until school lets out end of June. traveling with 3 children What time would you suggest?

    Hi Annette,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I have traveled to Walt Disney World at many different times of year. They are all fun, and with a little planning, any time of year can be the right time for a magical vacation! Let me offer you some thoughts on your options.

Of your three options, I would suggest the week in February. Chances are that this will be the time of year with the lightest crowds of your three options. You mention that it is during a February vacation. Walt Disney World can get a bit more crowded around Presidents' Day, but since most schools only offer a three-day holiday at that time, it typically does not stay very busy all week. The times right around Easter tend to be very crowded since most schools do base spring break around Easter. The end of June will also probably see higher crowds as most children are out of school for the summer then.

February will have on average cooler temperatures, with an average high of 74 degrees Fahrenheit. This is quite pleasant for experiencing the theme parks, and since the pools at Walt Disney World are heated, it can also be swimming weather! The week that you are looking at in April will be warm, and by the end of June it can be getting very hot in Florida.

Whenever you decide to visit Walt Disney World, I am sure that you will have a great time, Annette. Have a wonderful time planning your magical vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
