Hello Jennifer! Welcome to planDisney!
My favorite place to see what characters are in Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park is in the
Disneyland app. Open up the app and navigate to the location icon in the bottom navigation bar, and then select "Characters" under the top center navigation bar. I like to then tap "Show List" in the upper right-hand corner to show an alphabetical list of all of our favorite characters that are currently greeting Guests, and what time they will be appearing.
Moana isn't always out greeting Guests, but I'm hopeful with the exciting
Moana 2 film coming out soon that we will see her out and about in the parks again! In the past, we have had luck meeting her in
Adventureland in Disneyland Park, but I'm not currently seeing her listed in the Disneyland app. You can also ask a Cast Member in the area if they have seen her recently during your visit as well.
There are not currently any
character dining experiences that she regularly appears at, but there are several great options for character dining! We love to dine at
Storytellers Cafe at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and starting on November 19, 2024, they will be offering Mickey's Holiday Pajama Party Breakfast and Brunch. Mickey and some of our favorite Disney pals will be wearing their festive and cozy pajamas, and Guests are encouraged to dress cozy! Not only do you get to see and hug Mickey and his friends, but enjoy a delicious buffet as well.
