Hello we are visiting next week and wanted to get an amorettes cake sent to artists point, for my daughters birthday dinner. My understanding is that they do not deliver. Can we bring a cake in from amorettes?

    Hiya Jocelyn,

Welcome to planDisney! Also, let me be the first to say Happy Birthday in advance to your daughter! Be sure to stop by Guest Services and pick up a Celebration Button to commemorate this "Best. Day. Ever." Cast Members love to celebrate along with you, so the button helps everyone get involved in your daughter's celebration.

It is fantastic that you could get a reservation for Story Book Dining at Artist Point for your daughter's birthday. While I've never eaten there before, the menu looks absolutely magical! I'm definitely going to have to add this dining location to my wish list for my next visit; the "Poison" Apple dessert looks genuinely to die for. In my experience, you cannot bring desserts from other locations such as Amorette's Patisserie to dining locations to enjoy. Luckily, I have another option for a unique cake that may work for you. Walt Disney World Resort allows you to add on a Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake at Story Book Dining at Artist Point! These chocolatey treats feed 4 to 6 Guests and can be customized to say "Happy Birthday" on the little ears. When you pre-order a Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake, your server will bring it out after your meal, and your daughter will have no idea it is coming. It will be such a sweet surprise. Best of all, I've also seen some Guests bring in their own candles to place on the cake for birthday celebrations so you can make it extra special. Since you have already booked your reservation, you will need to add your Celebration Cake at the podium when you check in with the host or at least four days before your reservation. Please note: These cakes are subject to availability, so keep that in mind.

If you still have your heart set on Amorette's, I still recommend ordering a cake from there. While you would not be able to bring it to your dining reservation, you can enjoy it at your Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotel! I personally prefer to enjoy my cake in my pajamas, so this option would bring me a ton of joy. If you are ordering from Amorette's, please make sure to place your order at least 72 hours in advance.

I hope that I have answered your question about cakes, Jocelyn. If you have any other questions, please reach out to planDisney, where we help you make your dreams come true!

    Happy Planning!
