We're visiting in the next week with a 6month old. Can you tell me more about the car seats in the Minnie Van service? I saw it is for children under 6years old but not much more. In a pinch, I'd like to use the service to get around quickly.

    Hello Jenny,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. The countdown is on for your magical vacation!

I'm so excited that Minnie Vans are back! These adorable vans are super convenient for getting directly to and from dining reservations at Walt Disney World Resort hotels, or when you just want to get back to your own hotel room quickly for a midday break. Complimentary transportation is awesome, but sometimes you just need to be transported without waiting in long lines. Minnie Van service begins running at 6:30 AM daily, so it's a perfect way to get to those early morning dining reservations.

You'll be happy to know that the child safety seats in Minnie Vans accommodate children from birth to age 6. Driver's will automatically install the car seats rear-facing for all children under 2. Make sure to install the Lyft app on your mobile device, so you'll be ready to access the service when you need it.

Another tip for traveling with an infant. Did you know each park has its own Baby Care Center? These fully staffed, air conditioned oases provide a comfortable spot for changing a diaper or feeding your baby. Be sure to check them out!

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
