Hi! Visiting next month. Although we have been before, we have never visited ESPN wide world of sports. My son, age 9, is a sports enthusiast and wants to do this, but what exactly will there be for him to do there? Thanks!

    Hi Shannon!

This is a great question.  ESPN Wide World of Sports is a great complex for sports enthusiast, though it can be difficult to get there as buses don't run there from all of the resorts.  Just ask at the front desk of you hotel what is the best way to get there if you don't have your own car.

The ESPN Wide World of Sports serves many purposes.  There are usually competitions going on there in various sports at various levels and it is also the home of pre-season training for the Atlanta Braves and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  For a complete schedule, visit the Wide World of Sports page.  Almost all of the events require a ticket, though admission is included if you have the Water Park Fun & More option on your Magic Your Way tickets.  You can shop there, grab something to eat, and play some interactive video games in addition to watching any events or practices.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
